Meg Kumin

Meg Kumin teaches in the First-Year Seminar program within the Liberal Arts & Sciences program. She has worked at KU for many years, first as a software developer at the Natural History Museum and now as a staff photographer with KU Marketing. She holds a B.A. in American Studies, an M.S. in Computer Science, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Her seminar explores creativity, mindset, and American culture. Her teaching is grounded in curiosity, critical thinking, and a commitment to helping students engage meaningfully with the learning process.
