Biography

Mark Pahls serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the LA&S degree program. He has been teaching online courses since 2006 in the areas of Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics and Sport Management. 

Much of his career experience has been in collegiate athletic administration. Mark served eight years as Associate Athletic Director at Fort Hays State University and two as Assistant Basketball coach for the Tigers. He has also worked in development for private education.

Mark earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science and an M.B.A. in Leadership from Fort Hays State University. He also has an M.S. in Applied Statistics from the University of Kansas Medical Center and his doctorate is from the University of Kansas in Health Sport & Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sport Management.

He enjoys spending time with his family. Mark's wife Angie teaches middle school art. They have five boys and two cats, and there is rarely a quiet moment in the house.
