Biography

Holly's current role in the LA&S program is a Graduate Teaching Assistant for LA&S 494: Senior Seminar. She encourages students to embrace curiosity, explore diverse career paths, and recognize the value of their unique experiences.

As a first-generation student, farm kid, and doctoral student in Counseling Psychology, Holly is passionate about helping students navigate academic and career transitions with confidence. She enjoys supporting students through thoughtful feedback, inquisitive discussion, and helping them develop critical thinking. Her research focuses on compassion in psychotherapy and factors that contribute to positive therapeutic outcomes. Alongside her teaching, Holly provides clinical services and psychological assessment as part of her doctoral training.
